The Meridian Sooloos system can be further enhanced by utilizing your iPhone™, iPad™, or iPod® Touch as a sophisticated wireless control interface. The Sooloos application provides comprehensive access to Meridian's acclaimed digital media platform, enabling users to store, organize, browse, and play high-fidelity audio across multiple zones within a residence.

It is important to note that this application requires a Sooloos digital media system running version 2.368 or later; however, version 2.535 or subsequent releases are recommended for optimal performance. The Sooloos app seamlessly connects to your WiFi network, automatically detecting and establishing a connection with your Sooloos system without requiring manual configuration. Once connected, users can browse their music library and exert full control over playback settings in all system zones.

Sooloos offers diverse options for exploring your music collection, including browsing by artist, genre, release date, import date, or custom tags. Playback can be customized using features such as shuffle, loop, and the innovative Swim mode, which intelligently selects music based on your preferences.

The quick search feature allows for text input via an on-screen keyboard and provides real-time album and track results as typing progresses.

You may program different music in each room or synchronize zones to play identical content. Playback controls—including transport functions and seeking—operate independently within each zone. Volume levels for individual outputs or connected Meridian processors and DSP loudspeakers can be adjusted directly from the app.

Creating, loading, editing, and saving playlists is straightforward through the device interface. Additionally, the built-in Focus feature enables the compilation of personalized music collections—for example, "Hard Rock from the 1970s," "Top-rated Post-Bop Jazz," or "Albums featuring Yo-Yo Ma"—which can be recalled instantly via the app.
